Huangshan Defeng Trading Co., Ltd. got its name from the Wu Defeng Tea House founded by Mr. Wu Yongping, a member of the Changxi clan, in Beijing (1736-1795), which my great-grandfather, Mr. Wu Guanwen, was involved in running. The Wu Guanwen family purchased multiple shops and warehouses in Xinjiekou and Damaoer Hutong, Xicheng District, Beijing in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. At the same time, they participated in the operation of famous tea plantations such as Wu Derun and Wu Yuancheng from Huguo Temple located on Caishikou Street outside Xuanwu Gate, undertaking the task of transporting tea from south to north.
As a modern Anhui merchant, De Feng Trading upholds the legacy of the Wu family, reviving the spirit of Anhui merchants. Since its establishment in 2006, our company has grown steadily from its foundation in food and tea trading. Over the past 17 years, our business scope has continuously expanded. Today, our operations encompass domestic and international trade in products such as food, tea, bamboo and wooden items, as well as transportation infrastructure products. Our products are well-received in countries and regions including Japan, the European Union, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
